LA VENTANA CLASSIC + EXPO - Jan, 30 2009 The 4th annual 2009 LA VENTANA CLASSIC and KiteXpo kicked off at Baja Joes in La Ventana and was awesome with tons of sunny days, warm water and some great kitesurfing. Team Riders Brendan Richards and Jeff Burton got 6th and 7th in the Kite Crossing and the rest of the team finished in the top twenty, qualifying all our riders for the short course racing. People were raving about the our new Zombie kites and Trespass boards, and you can check out the video from that week here. WOMENS KITE CAMP: BAHAMAS - Dec, 30 2008 EXUMA KITESURFING is offering a February women's kiteboarding and relaxation camp at one of the best kept secrets in Exuma, Bahamas. Geared for beginner and intermediate women, the Exuma Kite camp is put on by Gary Sweeting, Exuma's IKO level 2 and PASA level 2 certified instructor. The Learn to Kiteboard Kiteventure package includes a week of lessons and lodging at the Sapphire Gardens condo, overlooking the harbour and transportation to and from the airport. Exuma features knee to waist deep, crystal clear water with sandy bottoms. Lessons include Caution kiteboarding gear, helmets and impact harnesses. No wind activities include: kiteboard towing (wake boarding), reef snorkeling, island hopping, hiking and relaxing.
